We are seeking an experienced, independently licensed clinician who has a passion for leadership, team development, and clinic operations to serve as Clinic Director of our established outpatient mental health clinic, serving the Henrico community for over three years.

This is not an entry-level leadership role; prior experience supervising clinicians or managing a behavioral health program is strongly preferred.

This position is best suited for someone who:

  • Is comfortable managing both people and performance

  • Understands insurance, documentation, and productivity standards

  • Is already credentialed with major insurance carriers in Virginia

  • Wants to play a meaningful role in growing a stable, community-based clinic

As a Clinic Director at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

The Clinic Director is highly compensated (salary, commission, and bonuses) for accepting responsibility for the overall performance and operation of a clinic composed of approximately 10–15 professional outpatient therapists. This includes recruiting and supporting strong clinicians, managing clinic performance and client satisfaction, providing training and ongoing developmental support, meeting fiscal goals, marketing clinical services, and building community partnerships and referrals. The Clinic Director will also maintain a reasonable client caseload.

Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 with the mission of destigmatizing mental health care and removing barriers to treatment. Today, Ellie clinics continue to grow nationwide through locally owned and operated franchises committed to innovative, compassionate care.
